This is a superbly engineered, dual function
video and communications system for both the inshore or portable offshore
diving market. The C-Vision system allows for up to two divers to have
both their video cameras and voice communications monitored and recorded
in a lightweight and easy to operate unit.
The concept removes the clutter and propagation of separate
video, communications and recording systems often found on dive sites.
The video and communications equipment is designed to operate with the
C-Tecnics low-light 306 colour video camera, ensuring compatibility and
quality electronic data for excellent communications and video. |
•Records 2 underwater video cameras •Integrated 2 diver communications system •Records both divers and supervisor comms •30 hours recording time •Digital editing suite •Touch screen computer control •Designed for harsh environments |

| Video System: A 15.4” wide touch screen offers excellent and clear viewing of underwater operations. It can be run in full-screen mode or accommodate a second video camera from another diver, ROV or remote location (a second camera and umbilical can be requested at time of ordering). C-Vision also offers up to 30 hours of continuous inbuilt recording of all of the data. A computer within the unit permits on-site editing, and also the multiple data outlets will satisfy the most dedicated computer expert permitting download of the dive immediately, or live viewing, via USB2, eSATA, Firewire or LAN outputs. A keyboard is provided for on-site data input of diving position, diving conditions, diver details and other useful information, but this can be substituted by the on-screen keyboard – once the operators get used to this touch-screen phenomenon being available on a remote dive site! The touch-screen feature also brings diving into the 21st century and has the added benefit of being environmentally protected. The system is based on a 50m umbilical which includes both video, light and comms cables but it can be ordered with longer cable runs if required (max 100 metres). The camera is the well-proven C-Tecnics 306 fixed focus, wide angle colour camera already used by Navies, Inshore diving and saturation diving companies throughout the world. It is highly rated as one of the top performing cameras for low light, harsh environments. It is complimented by the C-Tecnics 100W light. Communication System: A handheld push to talk microphone comes with the system but a headset can be used to assist communication in a noisy environment. The electronics in C-Vision are based on the same electronics from the ground-breaking C-phone with opto-isolation providing ensuring no interference and degradation in the quality of the audio signal. The system is mains powered, with all underwater outputs reduced to low voltage in accordance with AODC/IMCA D035, no longer will the Supervisor be frustrated by ‘someone’ forgetting to re-charge the diver phone. The yellow ‘Storm’ case has been modified to incorporate a built-in stand which allows the screen and controls to be angled to suit viewing conditions and also deflect the worst of the weather - even though the system is marinised in the true C-Tecnics tradition which makes many of their systems the preferred choice of Navies and Diving contractors worldwide. Simple upgrade options are to have inbuilt GPS position monitoring and depth recording to complete the comprehensive information available to Clients and Dive Supervisors. Dimensions: 490mm x 390mm x190mm. |
